Trainers, Dr. Sally Beisser and Dr. Jennifer Thoma, professors at the Faculty of Education, within two days of training, basically four working sessions have discussed issues about effective questioning techniques that will impact the success of classroom interaction and student learning; strategies to increase student engagement by developing relationships, increasing productive thinking, and enhancing collaboration; build students’ awareness of their own thinking and learning; implement representing to learn strategies, etc.

 The training was dedicated to the professors and assistants of the University of Gjakova who were notified with the new teaching practices and have discussed the possibilities of application in their teaching process, thus affecting the quality of teaching. At the end of the training the certificates from Drake University were provided for all participants.

Trainers Dr. Beisser and Dr. Thoma during their stay at the University of Gjakova, were met with management of the university and discussed the possibilities to continue the co-operation, including teacher and student mobility.
