The closing conference of the QATEK project was held

On January 10, at the Faculty of Education of the University of Pristina, a conference was organized to present the results and achievements of the Erasmus Plus project "Towards the Preparation of New Teachers through a Quality-Oriented System to Raise the Professionalism of Teachers" in Kosovo (QATEK)", financed by the European Union. The main goal of the project was to develop a quality culture in teacher training institutions by developing internal mechanisms for examining the quality of services for students, as well as teaching and scientific work.

Vice-rector for international cooperation and projects Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi, together with the staff from the Faculty of Education, Prof. Ass. Dr. Venera Vala Këndusi, Prof. Asoc. Dr. Laura Naka and Prof. Asoc. Dr. Edita Haxhijaha, represented "Fehmi Agani" University at the closing conference.

In addition to the many achievements that were evidenced by this project, including policies, toolkits, strategic plans, and the provision of a significant number of books, there was also a discussion about the publication of the QATEK monograph. One of the chapters of this monograph was contributed by "Fehmi Agani" University and was written by Profesor Laura Naka.

The partners in this project include the University of Tallinn (Estonia), the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and LUMSA University (Italy), while from Kosovo, the Faculty of Education in Pristina, Gjakova, Gjilan and Mitrovica are part of the Albanian team in this collaboration.

The Minister of Education, Mrs. Arbërie Nagavci, who, during her speech, said that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Innovation (MAShTI) focuses on improving the quality of education at all its levels.

She also emphasized that the QATEK project has made an important contribution to the realization of this important objective for the education system in Kosovo.
