At the University "Fehmi Agani" was held the roundtable "Education, the cornerstone of social advancement", on the occasion of the Memorial Day of the Egyptian Community
On Wednesday, on the 23rd of June, 2021, at the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova (UFAGJ) was held the roundtable "Education, the cornerstone of social advancement", on the occasion of the Memorial Day of the Egyptian Community.
Rector, prof. ass. dr. Artan Nimani welcomed the panelists and other guests at the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova and in his opening remarks initially congratulated them on the Memorial Day of the Egyptian Community. He congratulated the representatives of the Egyptian community for the cooperation in the joint organization of this roundtable, in order to discuss the topic "Education, the cornerstone of social advancement". He also spoke about the ongoing support for Egyptian community students studying at UFAGJ, saying that the achievements are the result of teamwork.
Part of the panel discussion were, Mr. Fridon Lala, Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, who addressed the topic "Education of communities in the Republic of Kosovo", on "Government policies for education of communities in the Republic of Kosovo". Arbërie Nagavci, Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, continuing with the Minister of Local Government Administration, Mr. Elbert Krasniqi, where he discussed "Institutional support in the field of education". From non-governmental organizations spoke Mr. Berat Thaqi, director of Bethany Christian Services Kosovo, who addressed the issue of "The importance of inclusion in early education" and in conclusion about "Challenges and advantages of digitalization of education" spoke Antigona Uka, director of the Kosovo Distance Learning Center.
At the end, the discussion was opened for the other participants, who asked questions to the panelists, mainly about the challenges and problems faced by the Egyptian community in our society. The panel provided answers to the questions and concluded that joint commitment is needed to achieve concrete results of particular interest to the community.
