As part of the program re-accreditation process, on Wednesday, virtual meetings were held with international experts for the programs of the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova (UFAGJ). In this process in the Faculty of Philology are the programs: Albanian Language and Literature (bachelor and master) and in the Faculty of Social Sciences is the program: Social Care and Welfare (BA).

On the first day of this process, in virtual meetings with the international expert for the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Dr. Dhurata Shehri, from the University of Tirana, and the group of international experts for the Faculty of Social Sciences, composed of Prof. Dr. Milan Pol, from Masaryk University and Mrs. Marija Vasilevska, virtual meetings were held for this process with groups organized by the faculties. The first meeting with the international experts was held by the faculty managements, and then meetings were held with the quality managers, academic staff, students, graduates, graduate employers and external stakeholders.

In the coming days, such meetings as part of the re-accreditation process will be subject to the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Medicine.

Deans of the faculties, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Kamber Kamberi and Prof. Ass. Dr. Shqipe Husaj, said that the meetings with experts went very well, and praised the organization made for this process by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA). The deans emphasized that there was an extraordinary mobilization in UFAGJ regarding the process of re-accreditation of programs, for which they thanked all those who were engaged.

Previously, international experts, who due to the pandemic hold their meetings virtually, were sent a video of the campus, halls, cabinets, etc., where the teaching process takes place.

The accreditation process includes internal and external quality assurance, which continues to be the main tool for setting quality standards in the higher education system in Kosovo.
