The Rector of the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" is paying a visit to Israel to initiate cooperation with Israeli universities. The first meeting was held in the Parliament of Israel - KNESSET where he was hosted by the Director of the Committee on Education, Culture and Sport in the Parliament of Israel, Mrs. Judith Gidali. During the meeting they discussed about the education system in Israel, briefed on the achievements and challenges of education in Kosovo and began to identify opportunities for cooperation between the universities of the two countries,  particularly the UGJFA , which is expected to have meetings with several universities in Israel in the following days. 

Rector Nimani was accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Improvement Ass. Dr. Vjollca Dibra, General Secretary Linda Dula Halilabazi and Foreign Relations Officer Denis Spahija.

Mrs. Judith promised that she will be like a bridge and would facilitate cooperation between Israeli universities and the University of Gjakova.
