Being in an important step for the development of higher education and inter-university cooperation, the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova and the Catholic University ‘’Lady of Good Counsel’’ in Tirana have signed an agreement of cooperation on the 25 th of November 2024.

Representatives of the Catholic University ‘’Lady of Good Counsel’’ in Tirana were welcomed in the premises of the Rectorate, by the Vice-rector for International Cooperation and Projects, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi, and Vice-rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, Prof. Ass. Dr. Dafinë Kaçuri.

The agreement was realized after the successful collaboration that is being developed between the two Universities, in regards to the project ‘’Pharmacologic therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and rehabilitation benefits with hydrotherapy in the children with cerebral infantile paralysis’’, financed by the Ministry of Education Science and Technology of Kosovo, and Albania’s National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, led by Prof. Asoc. Dr. Malvina Hoxha, led by the partner institution and Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku from UFAGJ.

The agreement aims the development of the mutual academic and scientific activities. This cooperation includes the exchange of students and the academic staff, the creation of the mutual study programs, as well as the organization of the research projects and conferences. Both universities aim to contribute to the advancement of education and science through the sharing of experiences and expertise.

The agreement reflects UFAGJ’s commitment to extend its horizons, and to build new cooperation bridges in the region and wide.
