Rector Prof. Assoc. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, together with the Chairperson of the Governing Council, Mrs. Majlinda Haxhikadrija-Ramadani, Vice-Rector Prof. Assoc. Dr. Dafina Ibrahimi-Kaçuri, General Secretary Mrs. Linda Dula-Halilabazi, and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Philology Prof. Dr. Sindorela Doli-Kryeziu, welcomed the Doctor Honoris Causa of UFAGJ, General Wesley K. Clark, a great friend of the people of Kosovo, accompanied by Lindita Daija.

Rector Bunjaku initially welcomed General Clark to the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova and thanked him for his significant contribution to the Albanian people in Kosovo during the 1999 war. He emphasized that this is an example the new generations should proudly follow, contributing to the development and strengthening of our state, to serve as an example for future generations.

Rector Bunjaku informed General Clark about the University, its programs, and development objectives that are currently being pursued.

General Clark expressed his great honor for the hospitality and thanked the University once again for the “Doctor Honoris Causa” title that was awarded to him by UFAGJ last year.
