The Steering Council of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, on the 11th of October, 2021 (Monday), held its constitutive meeting. The meeting was chaired by the oldest member of KD, prof. ass. dr. Hajrullah Latifi.

Rector of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, prof. ass. dr. Artan Nimani, congratulated the new members of KD for their election to the Steering Council, offering cooperation for the development of the university.

In this case, the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the UFAGj was elected. Mrs. Vjosa Mullatahiri has been elected Chairperson, while Mr. Agon Haxhikadrija has been elected Deputy Chairman of the SC.

The chairwoman of the UFAGj SC, Mrs. Vjosa Mullatahiri considered very important the constitution of the highest governing body of the university. According to the Statute of the UFAG, the Steering Council consists of 7 members, 4 of whom are elected by the Senate and 3 others are appointed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MEST).

The members of the Steering Council elected by the Senate of UKZ are: prof. ass. dr. Hajrullah Latifi, prof. assoc. Behxhet Gaxhiqi, prof. ass. dr. Shqipe Husaj, prof. assoc. dr. Lulzim Zeneli. Whereas, the members appointed by MEST are: Mrs. Vjosa Mullatahiri, z. Admir Shala and Mr. Agon Haxhikadrija, for the period 2021-2024.
