The Steering Council of the University of Gjakova on 09.12.2020 voted in favor of the request of the Senate and with 7 votes in favor and no against, approving the Regulation on the University Ombudsman and for a four-year term elected the first Ombudsman of UGJFA, Prof. Dr. Bajram Nuraj.

This Regulation, based on the Statute of the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani", regulates in more detail the competence, position and manner of work of the University Ombudsman, as well as the procedures of counseling, mediation and determination of violations of rights, which it performs in order to protect the rights, interests and freedoms of members of the university community such as students, educational staff, other participants in the higher education process and to improve the quality of the educational process and the work of the University.
