In the framework of cooperation between institutions, Gjakova University “Fehmi Agani” and Association of Kosovo Municipalities (AKM) have signed Cooperation Agreements.

Regarding this topic, Ms. Vjollca Dibra - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Improvement, informed the Municipal Education Directors (MDE) on the objectives of the agreement, which specifies that each academic  year a number of students should be assigned to exercise the practical work  in the Municipal Directorates of Education and the Municipal Directorates of Health and Social Welfare, which will enable them to be trained in these institutions.

Municipal Education Directors supported such a collaborative initiative, in providing real opportunities for students who complete their studies in their respective branches to practice in Municipalities. This cooperation should also be a good practice for other Universities in providing these opportunities. Faced with numerous financial problems, MEDs see this opportunity as a potential substitute for teachers on sick leave and maternity leave.

The Collegium of Education is committed to support the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" with participation in the working groups for the development of the University Strategy 2020 -2025, as well.
