On Thusday, 12.09.2019 the scientific laboratory for collection of bio-medical markers was inaugurated in the University of Gjakova “Fehmi Agani”, as part of the project entitled “Health status of older people in Kosovo by measuring biochemical and genetic contributors” led by Ass Arben Boshnjaku MSc and financed by the University Support Grant Program by the United States Embassy in Kosovo.

In the inauguration, besides the representatives from the UGJFA took part the representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, KUSA (Kosovo United States Alumni) and the University of Vienna (as partner and supervisor in this project).   

This laboratory will contribute in the raising of the quality of scientific work, teaching and learning as well as gaining skills for practical and research purposes.
