The Successful Workshop within the STAND Project takes place at TUSS in Hamburg

On 22-23 May, a fruitful workshop took place at TUSS Hamburg as part of the STAND project. The event brought together prominent speakers, researchers and professionals to discuss various topics related to decentralized research structures, start-up initiatives, university research service delivery and project management. The aim of the workshop was to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and explore innovative ideas in the field. This article provides a brief overview of the agenda and key moments of the event.

The workshop started with a warm welcome from Prof. Dr. Thorsten Blecker and Mrs. Olena Soltmann from the Institute of Business Logistics and General Management of TUHH. They set the stage for the day's discussions and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting sustainable development. Prof. Dr. Thorsten Blecker, an expert in business logistics and general management, shared insights about decentralized research structures and presented a compelling case study, focusing on the case of LogU. Dr. Christian Salzmann, Executive Director of Startup Dock - Gründen an Hamburger Hochschulen, TUHH, introduced the concept of start-up initiatives and emphasized their importance in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. Ms. Monica Schofield, Director of International Cooperation and Head of Consulting and Competence Development at TuTECH Innovation GmbH, shed light on the importance of providing services to university research, and highlighted the collaborative efforts between TUHH and Tutech. As part of the workshop, on Wednesday, 23.05.2023, the participants had the opportunity to visit the ZAL Tech Center, a leading center for research and innovation in avionics. The visit provided valuable insight into advanced technologies and advancements in the aviation industry.

Prof. Dr. Mihone Carolli from IBC-M led a project management meeting, where future activities were discussed, ensuring coordination and steady progress within the STAND project.

The workshop concluded with a thorough review of the day's discussions, reflections on key points and an open discussion between all partners involved. This session fosters the exchange of ideas and collaboration among participants. The university "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova was represented by the General Secretary, Mrs. Linda Dula Halilabazi.
