University “Fehmi Agani” participates in the “Summit of European Universities” in Bremen, Germany

University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, led by Rector Drilon Bunjaku and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Projects Nazli Tyfekçi, participated in the prestigious Summit of European Universities, which was held in Bremen, Germany. This Summit was organized by Times Higher Education in partnership with Contractor University, with the theme “Building the Future: Partnerships for impact.”

This important participation marks an important step towards the internationalization of the University, as it involves connecting global thought leaders in academy, industry, and civil society to discuss partnerships for social advancement.

The Summit emphasizes the key role of Universities in shaping the future through collaborations and partnerships. By harmonizing efforts, recourses and expertise, academic institutions can generate concrete and sustainable results for society, within Europe and beyond.

A diverse range of topics were discussed at the Summit, including partnerships between universities and industries, within the Higher Education sector, and with civil society.  Important presentations were given by prominent figures form academia and the industry in question, including Nobel Prize laureates and representatives from the world’s top-ranked Universities.

Key topics addressed at the Summit include creating success for new universities, transforming innovation ecosystems, and the impact of technologies on increasing university-industry relations, and the role of European University alliances in increasing collaboration.

In addition, discussions focused on new models of partnerships between industry and Universities in training and education, as well as the intersection of culture and technology in shaping the future of education. UFAG has actively contributed to these discussions, using its expertise and experience to advance collective knowledge about how partnerships can encourage social change.

After the end of the Summit, the knowledge gained from the discussions of Universities representatives experiences related to the key topic, will contribute not only to the University of “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, but also they will contribute to the comprehensive dialogue in the role of the University in shaping the future through strategic partnerships.
