We are happy to announce that the Fulbright Specialist Program 2024 is now open and you are welcomed to apply.

The Education Exchange Board United States-Kosovo (EEBUSK) invites the hosting Kosovar institutions to submit their project proposals for the Fulbright Specialist Program 2024, which allows the host to bring qualified American researchers and professionals in Kosovo for a period of two to six weeks to compete in a well-defined project.

The deadline for submission of the project is: May 15, 2024

Fulbright specialists exchange knowledge, build capacities, and create partnerships from which benefit the participants, institutions and communities from United States and Kosovo. FSP promotes long-term cooperation between the USA and Kosovo institutions through projects that align with the purposes of the Department of the USA and the priorities of the hosting institutions. The Fulbright opportunity offers a source of a short-term exchange according to the requirement, open for a wide range of fields, which responds directly to the needs of the corresponding hosting institutions and countries. Fulbright Specialist projects must be conducted personally (not virtually), without exceptions.

Acceptable foreign hosting institutions include, but are not limited to:

• Academic reputable institutions (universities, colleges, research institutions, educational/professional/technical institutions);

• Governance institutions (governments);

• Cultural institutions (museums, libraries, conservatoriums, theatres);

• Non-gonvermental organizations (NGO-s, thinking groups) and

• Public institutions related to health (public health organizations, learning hospitals)

Applications must be submitted through the World Learning portal by May 15, 2024. Projects must have a start date no earlier than October 1, 2024 and must be completed by September 30, 2025. FSP in Kosovo can offer up to twelve (12) Fulbright Specialist Grants per calendar year.
