On November 11, 2021 (Thursday), the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, represented by the Information Officer, Mr. Ardit Halilaj, participated in the workshop "Deepening cooperation between actors for employment promotion", analysis carried out by the consultant engaged by GIZ/DIMAK, Mr. Safet Gërxaliu of the "Migration for Development (PME)" program.

In this workshop, the identification of the advantages and challenges of employment in Gjakovë and the possibility of deepening and expanding the cooperation between the actors for the promotion of employment were discussed.

During the discussions, Mr. Ardit Halilaj, informed the attendees about the development of the University in terms of employment, the strategy for preparing students for the labor market, through the attractive programs that are offered, which are competitive in the local, regional and international market. At the end of the workshop, recommendations were made and business representatives asked to organize a round table with students to discuss the needs, the conditions offered for work and employment opportunities in these businesses.

Participants in the workshop were representatives of the public universities of Gjakova and Peja, representatives of local public enterprises, representatives of employment offices in Gjakova and Peja, as well as business owners and representatives.
