Notice about the transfer of students to UFAGJ

The University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, based on the Statute regarding the transfer of students in all academic units, is informing all interested students that from 14.09.2023 to 20.09.2023, they can submit a request for transfer from institutions of Higher Education in the relevant faculties of UFAGJ:

I. The transfer of students from other Higher Education Institutions to the relevant faculties of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova is allowed.

II. Changing the study program is possible between study programs in order to achieve the same level of education in accordance with the provisions of this Statute.

III. When changing the study program, the student is legally allowed to start the new study program if at least fifty percent (50%) of the exams have been passed successfully during the old study program and are accepted in the new study program.

IV. When changing the study program from other Higher Education Institutions at the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, the same rules will apply as when changing the study program within the University.

V. The student is allowed to enroll in the new study program:

1. at least in the second year of studies or;

2. in the year of studies following the old study program.

VI. The student must submit the request for changing the study program (transfer) to the commission of studies of the academic unit where he/she wants to continue his/her studies. Attached to the request - the online application in the System for University Management (SUM) must submit the following original documents:

1. Transcript of grades;

2. Evidence for the validation of the relevant semester 2022/2023;

3. Evidence of accreditation for the study program of the other Higher Education Institution;

4. Evidence that the student is registered at SMIAL;

5. Birth certificate;

6. ID card, in copy.

VII. The application period for transfer to the academic units of the UFAG opens from 14.09.2023 to 20.09.2023.

VIII. The commission of study will review the requests and recognize the exams given during the old study program in accordance with the specific rules of the study program until 21.09.2023.

IX. The decision on the transfer will be taken by the Council of the academic unit with the proposal of the studies committee.

X. The appeal against the decision on the rejection of the transfer must be made to the Council of the academic unit from 22.09.2023 to 26.09.2023, at 15:00.
