The Rector of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku welcomed the director of the regional hospital in Gjakova, Mr. Ph. Hilmi Shala.

Firstly, the Director Shala, congratulated the rector for the new position. Mr. Bunjaku also thanked the Director for the continuous support towards the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’, by enabling thus, the completion of Work Replacement for the students of the Faculty of Medicine, and the continued employment of the graduated ones.

Both parties vowed to strengthen even more the collaborations between the two institutions, in order to provide the best opportunities for students.

During the meeting, it was discussed that the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ is going through the process of institutional and program accreditation, and that both the academic and the administrative staff are working maximally for the accreditation process. Parallel, there was also an approval of the harmonization of the program plans with the demands of the job market, which is much more important and essential, in order for the students to take the necessary knowledge and skills, which will serve them to be competitors and equal to students who graduate in the western universities.

The organization of a visit to the regional hospital "Isa Grezda" was planned next week.
