In the frame of a several day stay in Kosova, on May 10th and 11th 2018, the delegation from IOWA state – USA, respectively representatives from the Northern Iowa University, Drake University, Iowa Tech Community College and Fort Dodge Municipality (twin Municipality with the Municipality of Gjakova), visited the University of Gjakova “Fehmi Agani”.

During this visit, were reviewed the possibilities of interinstitutional cooperation, thus, it was achieved an accordance for establishing joint programs, training organization and mobilities for academic staff and students, in the fields of studies that are available at the University of Gjakova.

The Rector of the University of Gjakova, Prof. Dr. Shaban Buza, in his welcoming word, after he expressed his gratefulness to the participants, stressed the importance and readiness for the University of Gjakova to be an active part of this cooperation. Furthermore, the Rector offered the maximal support for teachers who were present at the meeting and expressed their ideas related to issues that were discussed and in reforms in education system.

It is important to mention that Iowa state is very willing and open for cooperation in different fields. In this frame, the visit was useful and surely it is expected that the issues that were discussed to find implementation in practice.
