Rector of the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani", Prof. Ass. Dr. Artan Nimani was welcomed in a meeting by the Minister of Health, Armend Zemaj.

 At the meeting  was discussed about the Covid-19 pandemic and preparations for the start of the new academic year, taking all necessary measures to protect the public health of students and UGJFA staff.

Rector Nimani thanked Minister Zemaj for the reception and informed him about the orientation of the development policies of the University, specifically in the field of medicine. He also informed the measures taken at the University to manage the situation related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Minister Zemaj congratulated Rector Nimani on the achievements of the University and expressed readiness for the necessary support, for new study programs and for the infrastructure that the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" needs.

Following the meeting, Rector Nimani was also welcomed by the Director of HUCSK, Valbon Krasniqi, with whom they talked about creating the necessary space for the Faculty of Medicine to be moved to the premises of the Regional General Hospital of Gjakova "Isa Grezda". The meeting was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Enhancement, Prof. Ass. Dr. Vjollca Dibra, member of the Senate, Prof.Assoc.Dr. Ramush Bejiqi and the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Luan Gola.

At the end of the meeting, they agreed to concretize these discussions, addresing the advancing of the common goals.
