UFAGJ welcomed Representatives from ITP-GIZ- Opportunities for Collaboration were discussed
Rector of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, Prof. Asst. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, Prof. Asst. Dr. Dafina Kaçuri, and the Vice-Rector
for Research and Scientific Research, Academic Development and Quality Improvement, Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku, have welcomed representatives from the German organization GIZ and the non governmental organization Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Prizren.
In this meeting, both parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in joint projects aimed at the development and improvement of the academic programs of the University. The representative of GIZ in ITP, Visar Haxhifazliu, emphasized the importance of creating new opportunities for the development of Higher Education in Kosovo.
Then, on 14.08.2024, the Management accompanied by the Rector visited the ITP facilities in Prizren, where they met the heads of the department who deal with the development and promotion of technology in the community, as well as with training of various profiles for the development of human capacities. The Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Projects, Nazli Tyfekçi, also participated in this visit. The representatives of ITP expressed interest in cooperationwith UFAGJ, as well as discussed the possibilities of using the capacities of both sides for mutual development.
Rector Bunjaku and ITP-GIZ representatives agreed on the need to continue regular meetings to concretize the ideas and projects discussed.
This meeting marks an important step for strengthening the cooperation between University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova and national and international organizations at the same time, opening the way for advancement and institutional networking.
