Two-Month Visit of Asst. Vllaznim Mula at the University of Milan

Asst. Vllaznim Mula is currently undertaking a two-month visit to the University of Milan (UNIMI) in Italy. This visit represents an extraordinary opportunity for him as part of the innovative NanoKos project, funded by the European Commission (EUROPEAID/173691/DD/ACT/XK), titled "Nanoparticles in Environment and Medical Research." During June and July, Assistant Mula is working in the Department of Environmental Science and Policy under the mentorship of Professor Giangiacomo Beretta.

This collaboration is a significant step forward in the fields of environmental and medical research, allowing him to collaborate with international experts and develop practical skills in the use of the most advanced technologies. Assistant Mula will not only gain valuable experiences but also contribute to innovative research projects alongside the staff of the University of Milan.

During his stay, Mula and NanoKos trainees from the University “Fehmi Agani,” in Gjakova and other participants from Kosovo recently participated in the Italian Society for Cardiovascular Research (SIRC) conference at the University of Parma. They presented two poster presentations based on their work, one of which was chosen as the best among many others. Their hard work and dedication have been rewarded, showcasing the potential of the participating students and staff.

The results of these research projects are expected to be published in prestigious high-impact international journals, thereby enhancing the prestige and global ranking of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova .

We are enthusiastic about the opportunities this collaboration will bring to the University  “Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova. Upon his return, Asst. Ma. Mula will share the ideas and experiences gained during his internship with the rest of the academic staff, thus contributing to the further advancement of our academic and research capacities.

Our university will continue to support and encourage such collaborations!
