On the 8th of October, 2021 (Friday), the management of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, headed by the rector, prof. ass. dr. Artan Nimani, received today in a meeting the chairwoman of the State Quality Council, prof. ass. dr. Hasnije Ilazi, Director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Mr. Naim Gashi, and CSC member, Professor Krenare Pireva Nuçi.

Rector Nimani informed the participants about the developments at the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, regarding the accreditation of study programs and UFAGJ strategies in quality assurance and enhancement. He expressed his readiness to cooperate closely with KAA and CSC in terms of quality assurance and meeting the necessary standards. He also expressed gratitude for the commitment and contribution of KAA and CSC staff in the re / accreditation process.

On the other hand, the chairwoman of CSC, prof. ass. dr. Hasnije Ilazi stressed that the CSC is working on redefining the existing quality standards for higher education institutions, while emphasizing the importance of cooperation between them and UFAGJ for raising higher education standards in the country. . She said that currently many positive developments are taking place in KAA, such as the drafting of the Law on KAA, the three-year Strategic Plan, the creation of a new methodology for monitoring HEIs, the development of new standards of accreditation, re / accreditation and validation of academic programs, etc. Whereas, the director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Mr. Naim Gashi, emphasized the commitment of the UFAG management, which has been an example of cooperation and congratulated on the achievements in re / accreditation of 9 study programs.

During the meeting, among other things, were discussed projects that help the journey of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova in terms of quality assurance, as well as the development of new standards.

During the visit to the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, the leaders of CSC and KAA also met with student representatives, who gave their ideas for the development of the higher education system.
