The University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" on 14-th of June hosted an American delegation consisting of professors and officials from Drake University of Iowa in the United States, but also some pupils accompanied by their trainers, potential students of that university who are staying in Kosovo for a few days tour and will take part in sports activities such as wrestling and volleyball.

This delegation was received by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Shaban Buza, who after the welcome speech did deliver a lecture on the education system in Kosovo, especially for higher education.

On the same day, members of the delegation had the opportunity to visit the cultural heritage institutions in Gjakova, as the Bektashi Tekke, the Hadum Mosque and the old Qarshia. They were welcomed by the leaders of these institutions, who informed them about the history and activities of each facility.
