On 23.09.2019, Rector of the University of Gjakova, Prof. Dr. Shaban Buza, hosted in a meeting, representatives from Iowa Central Community College and the Municipality of Fort Dodge, IOWA, USA (twinned city with the Municipality of Gjakova ), representatives from the Municipality of Gjakova and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

This meeting was a continuance of previous visits and discussions regarding the cooperation in the field of education. Main topic of discussion, this time, was reviewing the compatibility of study programs of the two countries, student mobility, respectively practical work and the possibilities of the involvement in the labor market.
