Today at the University ‘’Kadri Zeka’’ in Gjilan has started the implementation of QUADIC Project-Quality Development of International Cooperation and Project Management, in the ERASMUS+ program+ Cooperation for Innovation and the exchange of good Practices, in the last call of Capacity Building in Higher Education-Joint Projects.

The opening of the start of the project implementation was done by the Rector of the University ‘’Kadri Zeka’’ in Gjilan, Prof. Asoc. Dr. Bajram Kosumi, who primarily thanked the Vice-rector for International Cooperation of the UKZ, Prof. Ass.Dr. Dukagjin Leka, at the same time, coordinator of the QUADIC project, for the continuous work in the internationalization of the University and all the participating partners in this project, claiming that he feels happy for starting such a huge project.

The Rector of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Artan Nimani congratulated everyone for the beginning of the project, by esteeming this very important and necessary mutual cooperation of all the QUADIC participants.

In the first activity that started today with a Kick Off meeting, organized by the Office for International Cooperation at the UKZ, and which will continue until 14.02.2020, are taking part all national and international partners, in total, representatives of 18 institutions as: The University of Gjakova ‘’Fehmi Agani’’, University ‘’Kadri Zeka’’ Gjilan, International Business College Mitrovica, University of Prizren ‘’Ukshin Hoti’’, the University of Lubljana, Heimerer College, University of Peja ‘’Haxhi Zeka’’, the University of Durres ‘’Aleksander Xhuvani’’ University of Mitrovica ‘’Isa Boletini, the European University of Tirana, the International University for Business and Technology, the University of Korça ‘’Fan S. Noli’’, the University of Gjirokastra ‘’Eqrem Qabej’’, the University Per Stranieri Di Peruga.

The QUADIC Project is the first of this kind in Kosovo, which has to do with capacity building for the international projects. This proves one more time that the internationalization and project development are the fields in which all Universities of Kosovo are working and will be working on, in order to orientate in achieving the standards of the European Union Universities possess, this way, growing also the quality of studies.

This project is a good opportunity for the partners from Kosovo and the region to increase their capacities in the internationalization process and in writing international projects, always aided by the European partners.

This project is financed by the European Committee, in amount of 991.381 Euros.
