As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen financial sustainability and enhance academic quality, the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova held an important working meeting focused on strategic budget planning.

The meeting was attended by the deans of the academic units and representatives of the University’s Finance Office.

The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation. This enabled the involvement of all key stakeholders and facilitated dynamic and inclusive institutional dialogue.

The discussions focused on a detailed analysis of the budgeting of existing study programmes, with the aim of optimizing available resources and improving teaching and research conditions. Particular attention was also given to financial planning for new programmes expected to be proposed during the five-year period 2026–2030.

The discussions addressed priority needs at both the Rectorate level and across all academic units, ensuring that every new academic initiative is supported by a sustainable financial foundation.

Through this strategic planning process, the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova reaffirms its commitment to ensuring transparency, effective management of public finances, and compliance with the highest academic standards.
