Today, on 15 June 2026, the regular meeting of the Science Council of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova was held.

During this meeting, the following agenda items were reviewed:

Approval of the minutes from previous meetings;

Review of requests for funding scientific publications and conference participation;

Review of applications for the Researcher of the Year and Young Researcher of the Year awards for 2025;

Miscellaneous.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of the Science Council, Prof. Dr. Ilmi Hoxha, and was attended by:

During the meeting, the members of the Science Council engaged in detailed discussions regarding each agenda item, analyzing and evaluating the matters submitted for consideration. The meeting addressed the minutes of the previous meeting, requests for funding scientific publications and participation in scientific conferences, as well as applications submitted for the Researcher of the Year and Young Researcher of the Year awards for 2025. Following the review of the relevant documentation and constructive discussions among the members, the appropriate decisions were made for each agenda item in accordance with the criteria, procedures, and competencies of the Science Council.

The Council reaffirmed its commitment to advancing scientific activity, supporting researchers, and promoting excellence in research at the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova.
