The next meeting of the Central Committee for Quality Assurance and Evaluation was held at the "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova
The Central Commission for Quality Assurance and Evaluation at “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova held its regular meeting on June 8, 2026, during which important issues related to quality assurance and the advancement of academic and institutional processes were discussed.
The meeting was attended by:

Ass. Blerte Hyseni – Member of the Central Commission for Quality Assurance (CCQA) from the Faculty of Medicine;

Ass. Emirejta Kumnova – Member of the CCQA from the Faculty of Education;
-
Jeton Plava – Chair of the Quality Commission at the Faculty of Social Sciences;
-
Qëndresa Bardhoshi – Member of the CCQA and Acting Head of the Quality Assurance Office;
-
Abedin Sadrija – Member of the CCQA and Head of the Academic Affairs Office.
During the meeting, the following agenda items were addressed:

Approval of the minutes from previous meetings (except for the most recent meeting);

Analysis of the Winter Semester Report for the academic year 2025/2026 for the Faculty of Medicine and discussion of reports from other faculties according to their stage of completion;

Discussion of the recommendations of the Quality Commission of the Faculty of Medicine and the related improvement plan;
-
Analysis and approval of the Summary Report on the Employer Evaluation of Graduated Students for 2025;
-
Analysis and approval of the Report on Academic Staff Evaluation of Administration and Services for 2025;
-
Analysis and approval of the Report on Academic Staff Evaluation of Working Conditions for 2025;
-
The course evaluation process for the Summer Semester 2025/2026;
Progress of study programs undergoing reaccreditation and new programs applying for accreditation this year;
Miscellaneous.
Initially, the minutes of previous meetings were approved. Subsequently, the report on the evaluation of courses, practical exercises, and clinical practice for the Winter Semester of the academic year 2025/2026 for the Faculty of Medicine was analyzed. Reports from other faculties were also discussed, depending on their stage of preparation and submission.
Particular attention was given to the recommendations issued by the Quality Commission of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as to the development of an improvement plan aimed at ensuring the implementation of these recommendations in practice.
The Quality Assurance Office presented reports prepared on the basis of surveys conducted during 2025, namely:

The Summary Report on Employer Evaluation of Graduated Students for 2025;

The Report on Academic Staff Evaluation of Administration and Services;
-
The Report on Academic Staff Evaluation of Working Conditions for 2025.
These reports, prepared by the Quality Assurance Office, were analyzed and discussed with the members present. Their approval was postponed until the next meeting.
Within the framework of quality assurance processes, the progress of the course evaluation process for the Summer Semester of the academic year 2025/2026 was also discussed.
Another important agenda item was the review of the progress of study programs currently undergoing reaccreditation, as well as discussions regarding new study programs for which accreditation applications will be submitted during this year. Furthermore, members were informed about the post-accreditation process that will take place in the coming days for the Faculty of Medicine and at the institutional level, including the relevant preparations for this process.
At the end of the meeting, under the agenda item “Miscellaneous,” additional issues of interest to the development and advancement of academic and institutional processes were discussed.
