The Office for Security concludes the 'Student Participation in its Evaluation' campaign at the "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova
With the approval of the Central Commission for Quality Assurance, the Office for Quality Assurance at the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova successfully implemented a student awareness campaign regarding their participation in the internal quality evaluation process.
The activity was carried out during the period 15–22 December 2025, in the form of informational sessions across all faculties of UFAGJ. The main objective of this campaign was to inform and raise students’ awareness about the importance of quality assurance, their active role in this process, and the direct impact that completing questionnaires has on the continuous improvement of academic and institutional quality.
During the informational sessions, the Acting Head of the Office for Quality Assurance, Qëndresa Bardhoshi, in cooperation with the chairs and student members of the Faculty Quality Assurance Commissions, presented:
the quality assurance process at UFAGJ;
the types of questionnaires distributed during the academic year;
the importance of active student participation;
the way questionnaire results are used to improve study programs and university services;
the full anonymity of the questionnaires.
In each faculty, an open discussion was held with students, giving them the opportunity to ask questions and express their opinions and suggestions regarding the quality assurance process.
As part of the activity, informational leaflets and posters were also distributed. In order to optimize costs and increase students’ access to information, the leaflets were equipped with QR codes, while the informational materials were also published on the official website of the Office for Quality Assurance.
The activity was attended with satisfactory student participation and interest, contributing significantly to raising awareness of their role in ensuring and improving quality at UFAGJ.
This campaign was implemented on the eve of the student evaluation period for the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, with a particular focus on informing first-year students, who are participating in the quality evaluation process for the first time.
