Meeting of the Central Commission for Quality Assurance
On 25 November 2025, a meeting of the Central Commission for Quality Assurance was held at “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova. The following members participated in the meeting:
- Prof. Assoc. Dr. Petrit Duraj – Chair of the CCQA
- Qëndresa Bardhoshi – Acting Head of the Office for Quality Assurance
- Abedin Sadrija – Head of the Office for Academic Affairs
- Albion Rexhaj – Member of the CCQA, Student Representative
During the meeting, the following agenda items were discussed:
- Approval of the minutes from the previous meeting held on 25.09.2025;
- Discussion regarding the monitoring process by KAA and the documents that must be published by 30.11.2025;
- Publication of improvement plans by academic units, based on the reports of the Office for Quality Assurance;
- Approval of the informational leaflet and discussion regarding its distribution campaign for students, within the process of raising awareness about quality assurance at UFAGJ;
- Drafting of the Quality Assurance Activities Plan at UFAGJ (December 2025 – December 2026);
- Other issues.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the continuous monitoring process by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), the need for regular updates of UFAGJ’s official website with the latest information, and raising awareness regarding this process.
One of the key points discussed was the improvement plan, which is drafted based on the findings of the reports from the Office for Quality Assurance. The importance of academic units and the institution as a whole carefully following the recommendations from these reports was highlighted, with the aim of enhancing quality at all levels.
The commission members also discussed the informational leaflet for students, which will be distributed prior to the evaluation questionnaire process for academic courses. Organizational aspects of this campaign were reviewed, along with the necessary steps for notifying the responsible bodies about this activity.
In conclusion, it was decided that the point regarding the drafting of the Quality Assurance Activities Plan will be revised once more by all members before being submitted for approval.
Additionally, the meeting underscored the importance of drafting the Rules of Procedure for the Quality Assurance Commission at UFAGJ.
