This guide is supported by the project “Centers for Migration and Development” commissioned by the German Government and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Kosovo. This guide has been prepared to inform students who are interested in mobility such as for work, study and education purposes. This guide is intended for those who want to migrate for long-term or short-term purposes. One of the main groups seeking opportunities abroad are students, who often intend to choose educational and professional opportunities abroad. It is important for students to explore these opportunities and use their new knowledge, skills and experiences to contribute meaningfully to their country of origin. The global program “Centers for Migration and Development” (ZME), which is implemented by GIZ, cooperates with Career Centers of Public Universities in Kosovo with the aim of building their capacities in providing advisory services to students. These centers play an important role in supporting students during their career development and job search process. Overall, career offices serve as a valuable resource for students by providing guidance, support, and resources to help students achieve their professional goals. Given the current dynamics of the global market and the increasing competition for the international workforce, it is expected that domestic students will explore opportunities in international markets. However, Career Offices of Public Universities often lack comprehensive information on regular migration options.
