On May 28, 2025, at the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova was held a meeting of the working group for change and amendment of the Regulation for Quality Assurance and Evaluation, which is a key document for the internal functioning and development of quality in our institution.

The works of the day included:

1.Preliminary comments for the aspects of the regulation that require change or completion;
2.Delegation of tasks for the review of the document;
3.Appointment of the next meeting.

During the meeting were addressed important issues that are related to the update of the current regulation and the need for its harmonization with the legislation in force of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, as well as the European standards for quality assurance in Higher Education. Likewise, it was also emphasized the importance of reviewing the Manual for Performance Evaluation, as a document that comes out of this regulation.

The meeting was attended by:  Vice-Rector for Quality Improvement and Scientific Research, the Deans of academic units, members of the Central Committee for Quality Assurance, the student representative, as well as representatives of the Quality Assurance Office at UFAGJ, all members of the working group appointed by the university Senate.

The meeting was held in a hybrid format, with 3 members physically present in the hall and the rest connected online.

The working group will continue the work in the next stages for the finalization of a document which will guarantee the continuous increase and surveillance of the academic and institutional quality.
