
UFAGJ representatives participate in the 9th International Balkan Economic Summit
The 9th International Economic Balkan Summit, organized this year from the Rumelia Industrialists and Businessmen Association (RUMELİSİAD), was held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, marking thus, a significant event for the regional economic development in Balkan.
In this prestigious forum, the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova was represented by Rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, and vice-rector for International Cooperation and Projects, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi. Their participation emphasized the commitment of the university for instilling the cooperation of the University with the field of entrepreneurship.
In a specific meeting held during the Summit, Rector Bunjaku and Vice-rector Tyfekçi met with the heads of the RUMELISIAD in order to discuss the opportunities of cooperation between RUMELISIAD and the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova. The discussions ended with an agreement for drafting a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will determine the modalities of cooperation between the two institutions.
Likewise, it was agreed upon that RUMELISIAD, along with the potential entrepreneurs to soon pay a visit at the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova. This visit will provide a platform for exploring and presenting the possibilities of investment in the city of Gjakova and the region, strengthening thus the mutual vision for economic development and cross border cooperation.
