On 11.04.2025, Caritas Kosovo, with the lecturer Msc. Blerina Vehbiu held an informing lecture on the topic: ‘’Accessible Communication’’ in regards to the "ACTIVE 2 Accessible Communication towards inclusion of the vulnerable and marginalized people in Western Balkan’’.

The lecture was developed with the active participation of the students of the Faculty of Philology of Albanian Language and Literature Department, which had the opportunity to get to know more closely with the basic concepts, principles and standards of the Easy and Accessible Language, as well as Easy Reading and their importance in the inclusion of the marginalized groups in the society.

Apart from the theoretical part, the lecture included also practical exercises, where students worked in groups in order to simplify the existing texts and to create accessible materials in communication for disabled people and with special needs. Through these exercises, the students developed their professional skills which will help them communicate more equally, clearly and inclusively.

This lecture is part of the collaboration between Caritas Kosova and University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, with the purpose increasing the awareness and education of the new generations for the importance of the accessible communication for everyone.
