UFAGJ strengthens international cooperation at the Internationalization Conference held at Ondokuz Mayıs University

The International Conference on “Internationalization in Higher Education: Navigating Global Challenges and Opportunities” was held from October 25 to 27, 2024, at Ondokuz Mayıs University. University “Fehmi Agani” (UFAGJ) was among the partner institutions in organizing this important event, which brought together participation from 26 universities.

A guest of honor at the conference was the Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Projects of UFAGJ, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi, who participated both in the opening ceremony and in academic panels, where internationalization was the central topic of discussion.

During the conference, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi, Vice Rector of UFAGJ, and Prof. Dr. Cetin Kurnaz, Vice Rector of Ondokuz Mayıs University. Both universities committed to the agreement in their full institutional capacity, marking the initial formal steps toward future collaboration.

Ondokuz Mayıs University, founded in 1975, is the largest university in the Black Sea region and is recognized as a prominent state university with 20 faculties, 23 colleges, 13 vocational schools, 5 institutes, a conservatory, and 24 research centers.

During her stay at the university, Vice Rector Tyfekçi also met with students from Kosovo who are currently pursuing their studies there.

University “Fehmi Agani” remains committed to embracing universal values and fostering innovation for the benefit of individuals and society. Internationalization is a strategic priority for UFAGJ, aiming to strengthen its global presence and cooperation networks.
