Today, March 13, 2020, at the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina", the meeting of the Conference of Rectors was held, where was discussed about the process of institutional accreditation in higher education institutions in the country.

In a joint letter, rectors of public universities expressed concern over delays in the process of institutional accreditation of programs by the State Quality Council. More specifically, the CSC is delaying the accreditation of experts who are responsible for institutional and program accreditation.

As a result, public universities, as well as the higher education system in the country, can suffer without the fault of public universities in the process.

Public universities have worked and are prepared for the accreditation process. With this in mind, the Rectors' Conference required that the procedure be conducted without delay, and that the accreditation process should be completed by June 2020, so that accredited universities could continue recruiting new students on a timely basis and according to the duration of official
