UFAGJ organizes training on the ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in higher education
As part of its professional staff development activities, the Didactic Center for Teaching Excellence of the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova (UFAGJ), in cooperation with the “Jakova” Association of Intellectuals, is organizing the training “Ethical Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education”.
The training is intended for the academic and administrative staff of UFAGJ and will be delivered in a practical, workshop-based format, using examples and exercises tailored to the university context.
During the training, participants will have the opportunity to learn:
how to use Artificial Intelligence in preparing teaching materials and conducting scientific research;
how to formulate more effective prompts and obtain more useful results;
how to verify the accuracy, sources, and reliability of AI-generated content;
what data should not be shared with public Artificial Intelligence platforms;
how to use tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar platforms in a responsible and professional manner.
Particular attention will be paid to academic integrity, privacy and the protection of student and institutional data, transparency in the use of AI and algorithmic biases, as well as distinguishing between acceptable and unacceptable uses of AI in teaching, assessment, and administration.
Through practical exercises and examples from university life, participants will have the opportunity to directly try out some of the tools and techniques presented during the training.
