The Rector of the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova (UFAGJ), Prof. Assoc. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, together with the Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sindorela Doli-Kryeziu, held an official meeting with the Director of the Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova, Colonel Lumni Graishta.

The meeting was held within the framework of inter-institutional cooperation and joint efforts to create a safe and suitable environment for the development of academic activities.

The focus of the meeting was the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Kosovo Police and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology regarding the engagement of police officers in securing institutional facilities, as well as strengthening support and cooperation between the relevant institutions.

The “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova is currently in the process of carrying out procurement procedures for contracting physical security services for university facilities. In this context, continuous cooperation and coordination with the competent institutions are considered important for the proper implementation of institutional processes and for ensuring a safe environment for students, academic staff, and administrative staff.

The parties expressed their readiness to continue and further strengthen inter-institutional cooperation in support of security, institutional support, and the smooth functioning of the University’s activities.
