The Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sindorela Doli-Kryeziu, participated in the Scientific Symposium: “25 Years of the Ohrid Agreement,” held in Struga

The topic of her presentation was: “Education and the Role of Women in Social Integration after 2001 in North Macedonia.”

Among other things, Vice-Rector Doli-Kryeziu emphasized the importance of schools and universities creating more opportunities for contact, cooperation, joint projects, academic mobility, scientific research, and intercultural dialogue. In this regard, universities have a particular responsibility. They should not be merely institutions where students earn a degree, but also spaces where democratic culture is fostered and coexistence is learned. She also highlighted the potential for cooperation between our “Fehmi Agani” University and public universities, such as those in Struga, Tetovo, Skopje, and others.

Participants in the Scientific Symposium, entitled “25 Years of the Ohrid Framework Agreement,” included professors from universities in Albania, officials from the Parliament of Albania, professors from the State University of Tetovo, the International University of Struga, “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje, as well as professors from Kosovo.
