UFAGJ continues work on finalizing the Strategic Plan 2026–2030
University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, with the support of the SHER Program, held a one-day workshop on July 23, 2026, in the Senate Hall as part of the process of drafting the UFAGJ Strategic Plan 2026–2030.
This workshop marked the continuation of the process initiated during the two-day workshop held on May 14–15, 2026, at Hotel "Sharri" in Prevalle, where representatives of the University management, academic and administrative staff, students, MASTI, civil society, and industry contributed to analyzing the University's current situation and identifying its main strategic priorities.
During the workshop held on July 23, the working group continued reviewing, refining, and harmonizing the strategic document, focusing on strategic objectives, concrete activities, measurable performance indicators, implementation timelines, and the designation of the units responsible for implementation.
Particular attention was given to enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, strengthening scientific research, modernizing study programs, advancing internationalization and digitalization, expanding cooperation with the community, and reinforcing the University's institutional capacities.
The Strategic Plan drafting process was carried out based on the methodology presented during the initial workshop by the SHER Program expert, Prof. Dr. Bujar Pira, while also incorporating the valuable contributions of the University's internal and external stakeholders.
University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova expresses its sincere gratitude to the SHER Program for its continuous cooperation, professional support, and valuable contribution throughout all phases of drafting the Strategic Plan 2026–2030. The SHER Program is funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
The University also extends its appreciation to all members of the working group and other participants for their commitment, collaboration, and professional contributions to the development of a comprehensive, feasible, and sustainable strategic document aimed at supporting the University's long-term academic, scientific, and institutional development.
The Strategic Plan 2026–2030 will serve as the University's principal guiding document over the next five years, defining its strategic priorities, objectives, and concrete actions for the continued advancement of University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova.
