University representatives participated in the Stakeholder Forum for the POLICY ENLARGE project
On 26 June, the Stakeholder Forum was held at the Riinvest Institute, where the University was represented by Dean Prof. Ilmi Hoxha and Ms. Freskina Mula Ermeni, representative of the Office for International Relations.
During the meeting, the POLICY ENLARGE project was presented by the Riinvest Institute. The project aims to support the development and implementation of evidence-based policies in the field of Research and Innovation (R&I), building on the results and activities of the POLICY ANSWERS project.
The project will be implemented over a period of 36 months and is coordinated by the Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development (RCISD) from Hungary.
The main objective of the forum was to present and discuss the preliminary capacity-building plan for Kosovo within the framework of this project. In this regard, the four main Work Packages (WPs) were introduced:
WP1 – Policy Dialogue
WP2 – Policy Guidance and Learning
WP3 – Joint Calls and Actions
WP4 – Capacity Building
The key objectives of the programme were also presented, including:
Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the National Science Programme;
Strengthening capacities for participation in the Horizon Europe programme;
Supporting the green and digital transition;
Enhancing capacities for Kosovo's participation in the European Innovation Scoreboard.
The meeting served as an important platform for exchanging information and discussing opportunities for the involvement of higher education institutions and other relevant stakeholders in the implementation of the project's activities.
