The UFAGJ Senate Holds Its Regular Meeting

The regular meeting of the Senate of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova was held, during which important issues of institutional and academic interest were addressed.
The meeting was chaired by the Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, with the participation of the Senate members. During the meeting, important items on the agenda were discussed and reviewed, related to the regular academic functioning, institutional development, and advancement of internal university processes.
As part of the meeting, the Senate reviewed and approved the academic calendar, as an important document for the organization and planning of teaching, administrative, and academic activities. During the review of the calendar, the dates for organizing the June and September examination periods were also coordinated, with the aim of ensuring better and harmonized planning for students, academic staff, and academic units.
In addition, the Senate reviewed and approved the requests of the academic units related to the call for appointment, reappointment, and promotion of academic staff, in accordance with the needs of the academic units and the relevant institutional procedures.
In the spirit of institutional cooperation and internal coordination, the meeting also included discussions regarding the post-accreditation expert visits, within the framework of institutional accreditation and several study programs that are undergoing the same process. On this occasion, the importance of proper institutional preparation, cooperation among academic units, and fulfillment of the required standards in accreditation processes was emphasized.
During the discussions, the importance of responsible and transparent decision-making was highlighted, in support of improving the quality of teaching and institutional development.
