The project "ALBANIANS OF MANDRICA" was successfully concluded
The six-month project “Albanians of Mandrica” was successfully completed by the project leader Sindorela Doli-Kryeziu and funded by Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
This project was a collaboration between the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Philology of University “Fehmi Agani”, as well as with the external expert from University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology, Dhimitri Bello.
The project focused on scientific research in the fields of dialectology, sociolinguistics, phonetics, and lexicology through an expedition composed of:

Master’s students of the Albanian Language program, Besjana Jakupi and Leomir Smajli

As well as the expert, Dhimitri Bello.
The project was also presented at the 8th International Scientific Conference “Language and Communication in the Time of Information Technology” with the topic:
“Albanians of Mandrica: Linguistic Issues, Cultural and Historical Aspects.”
The research was published in the International Scientific Journal Monte, which holds an impact factor according to the platform of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
The project monitoring report was presented before the members of the Scientific Council at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation by the project leader Sindorela Doli-Kryeziu, assisted by the student Besjana Jakupi.
This project will continue to contribute to the documentation and study of the linguistic and cultural heritage of Albanian communities living abroad.
