UFAGJ Participates in the “Forum for Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe Stakeholders” at IBCM

Representative of the International Relation Office Mr.Bujar Nura  participated in the “Forum for Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe Stakeholders,” organized by International Business College Mitrovica in cooperation with Kosovo Erasmus+ Office on May 8, 2026, at the IBCM Riverside Campus, as part of the activities marking Europe Day.

The forum brought together representatives of public and private universities, local institutions, and partner organizations, who discussed the importance of the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe programmes in the development of higher education, scientific research, and international cooperation.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Erasmus+ programme continues to be one of the most important mechanisms for the mobility of students and academic staff, creating opportunities for exchange of experiences, professional development, and the establishment of new inter-university partnerships. Meanwhile, within the framework of the Horizon Europe programme, discussions focused on increasing the involvement of Kosovo institutions in research and innovation projects with European partners.

Representatives of the participating institutions shared their experiences and challenges related to applying for international projects, grant management, and the need to strengthen institutional capacities in the field of internationalization.

The discussions also highlighted the importance of cooperation between universities and European Union institutions in advancing the quality of education, promoting innovation, and creating new opportunities for students and academic staff.

Representative of UFAGJ assessed the forum as an important opportunity for expanding international cooperation and identifying new partnerships within the framework of the European Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe programmes.
