The Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, together with the representative of the Office for International Cooperation, Mr. Bujar Nura, are participating in the Europe Universities Summit 2026, taking place in Milan from 5–7 May 2026.

This international summit, organized by Times Higher Education, brings together rectors, university leaders, experts, and industry representatives from across Europe and beyond to discuss the evolving role of higher education in a rapidly changing global context.

Under the theme “Unite to lead: Elevating Europe’s global role in higher education,” the summit agenda focuses on key issues such as enhancing the global impact and reputation of universities, fostering innovation through collaboration and research, promoting interdisciplinarity in higher education, and strengthening leadership and institutional development strategies.

During their participation, the delegation from the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova is engaging in meetings and exchanges with various international institutions, aiming to strengthen academic partnerships, increase internationalization, and advance quality in education and scientific research.

Participation in this important international event represents a significant step toward positioning the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova within European higher education networks and establishing strategic partnerships for the future.
