Exhibition "Creativity in Mathematics"
On January 15, 2026, an exhibition titled “Creativity in Mathematics” was held at the Faculty of Education. This activity was organized within the framework of courses on the methodology of teaching mathematics by students of the primary and preschool programs of this faculty, under the supervision of Professor Melinda Mula.
The exhibition aimed to raise awareness among students and teachers about the importance of a creative approach to teaching mathematics, as well as its impact on the development of logical, analytical, critical, and creative thinking in pupils.
The exhibition highlighted that mathematics is not only a discipline based on numbers and rules, but also a field that fosters imagination and sustainable learning. Creativity, innovation, and the integration of technology in mathematics teaching help students develop critical thinking and successfully solve problems from everyday life.
The exhibition was attended by teachers and school principals from various schools in Gjakova, as well as professors and students from different faculties of “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova. All participants highly appreciated the students’ dedication and their contemporary ideas in using innovative techniques to explain mathematical concepts in ways appropriate for preschool and primary education levels.
