UFAGJ and IMP Parts Join Forces to Develop the Next Generation of Engineers – A New Step Toward Practical Education and Innovation

The University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova (UFAGJ) and the company IMP Parts, Machinery Product have signed a Cooperation Agreement, opening a new chapter in strengthening the link between higher education and the manufacturing industry in the country.
The agreement was formalized in the presence of the co-owner and Head of Development, Mr. Albert Mushkolaj, by the Rector of UFAGJ, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, and the CEO of IMP Parts, Mr. Valdrin Nikaj, with the aim of creating concrete opportunities for students’ professional development and advancing applied innovation.
This strategic partnership aims to introduce a modern approach to teaching by orienting the educational process toward practical application and the real demands of the labor market. Students will have the opportunity to gain direct experience in advanced industrial environments, working with modern technologies such as industrial robotics, CNC systems, and automation of production processes.
In particular, students of the Informatics Engineering program will directly benefit from this cooperation. Through this agreement, academic staff and students of this program are enabled to utilize all industrial production laboratories of the company within courses directly related to industry, especially those for which the Faculty of Applied Sciences does not have fully developed laboratory infrastructure. This collaboration enables the effective implementation of the practical component of the curriculum, ensuring the maximum achievement of learning outcomes and program objectives.
On this occasion, Rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku expressed his gratitude to the CEO and the company’s owners for their continuous support of the university and their valuable contribution to the community. Meanwhile, the CEO of the company, Mr. Valdrin Nikaj, emphasized IMP Parts’ commitment to continuously support UFAGJ and the Faculty of Applied Sciences, with the aim of preparing new professional cadres who will serve as pioneers of this study program.
