Evaluation of Medical Faculty Programs Underway for Accreditation Process
On 11 February 2026, within the framework of the study programme accreditation process, the Agjencia e Kosovës për Akreditim (AKA), together with the International Expert Team, conducted the evaluation visit of the programmes undergoing accreditation at the Faculty of Medicine of Universitetit "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova.
During this visit, two new study programmes were evaluated:
Community Health Care (BSc, 180 ECTS)
Health Sciences in Sport and Tourism (BSc, 180 ECTS)
The evaluation process included structured meetings with the faculty management, quality assurance officers, administration, programme holders, academic staff, students, as well as the Industrial Advisory Board. The discussions focused on the academic content of the programmes, human capacities, infrastructure, cooperation with partners, and compliance with quality standards.
As part of the visit, the team of experts also toured the Faculty premises and laboratories, assessing the conditions and resources in support of the implementation of the study programmes.
This visit represents an important step in advancing academic quality and expanding the study offer of the Faculty of Medicine.
