An informative session was held – Round XVI of the Young Cell Scheme, the EU Postgraduate Scholarship Programme
Today, in the lobby of the three faculties, an informative session was held regarding the EU postgraduate scholarship programme, organized by the European Union Office in Kosovo and the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo. The programme was presented by the representatives: Mr. Fitim Sopi, Ms. Violetë Ademi and Ms. Arjeta Galimuna, as well as by the beneficiary student Lirika Kamberi.
The programme “Young Cell Scheme” is a unique opportunity and the scholarship offers full funding for young Kosovar students from various fields to study at the best universities located in EU Member States, as well as the opportunity to work immediately after completing their studies in the civil service of the Government of Kosovo for a period of three years, upon successful completion of their studies.
Successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to pursue a one- or two-year Master’s programme at a university in an EU Member State.
The application will be open to the general public, civil servants and graduates in fields such as:
European Integration and Policy Planning – up to 14 scholarships available
Law – up to 8 scholarships available
Economics – up to 7 scholarships available
Digitalization – up to 4 scholarships available
Engineering – up to 4 scholarships available.
The purpose of this activity was the sharing of information regarding the application rules and procedures.
The main objective of YCS is to provide a unique opportunity for students to study and to increase their professional opportunities through long-term employment in the civil service of Kosovo.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a question-and-answer session was organized, where much information about the programme was also distributed.
