Comprehensive Guide: Migration, Studies and Employment Abroad
This guide has been supported by the project “Centres for Migration and Development,” commissioned by the German Government and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Kosovo.
This guide has been prepared to inform students who are interested in mobility opportunities, such as for employment, studies, and education. It is dedicated to those who wish to migrate for long-term or short-term purposes. One of the main groups seeking opportunities abroad are students, who often aim to pursue educational and professional opportunities outside their home country. It is important for students to explore these opportunities and make use of their newly acquired knowledge, skills, and experiences to contribute meaningfully to their country of origin.
The global program “Centres for Migration and Development” (ZME), implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, cooperates with the Career Centers of Public Universities in Kosovo with the aim of strengthening their capacities in providing advisory services to students. These centers play an important role in supporting students throughout their career development and job search process. In general, career offices serve as a valuable resource by offering guidance, support, and tools to help students achieve their professional goals.
Considering the current dynamics of the global market and the increasing competitiveness of the international workforce, local students are expected to explore opportunities in international labor markets. However, Public University Career Offices often lack comprehensive information regarding regular migration options.
